The project “Supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment in the production of peeled wood” at Dat Thanh Cooperative (Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province) has been approved by the Center for Industrial Promotion and Consulting for Industrial Development No. The local Department of Industry and Trade (Center 1) and Yen Bai Provincial Center for Industry and Trade Promotion cooperated to support the implementation, acceptance and completion. To implement the project, Dat Thanh Cooperative has invested in 2 wood peeling machines ZB1500-1, capacity 36.5Kw; 1 wood peeler ZB-1500-1, capacity 16.5Kw put into production. New machinery and equipment are integrated with new generation electronic fine-tuning technology, after stable operation and put into production, they have high productivity, and the quality of peeled boards is more uniform and stable than the old equipment. The project is implemented not only to help Dat Thanh Cooperative increase production capacity, but also to make use of local raw materials, ensuring output for people to plant forests.
Center 1 also coordinated to support Dinh Cua Trading and Transport Company Limited (Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province) to implement the project “Building a demonstration model of bamboo mat production techniques”. The project has a total investment of 11,700 million VND, with the national industrial promotion supporting 1,000 million VND.

According to the representative of Center 1, the national industrial promotion project (National Park) is built on the basis of the group National Park project on supporting the development of the forest product processing industry in the 2019-2020 period. With the group project, there were 9 rural industrial establishments (CNNTs) supported to apply advanced machinery/technology lines into production. The project is recognized for its good effectiveness because it has helped the IT establishments to deeply process and add added value to their products, providing a variety of processed forest products for domestic and foreign markets; improve the production and business capacity and competitiveness of the beneficiaries.
Notably, the National Park Project “Support for the development of production and processing of wood and bamboo products in a number of northern provinces and cities in the 2021-2023 period” will be implemented in a series of projects. industrial promotion activities, promoting regional linkages, linkages between commodity sectors, linkages between localities and businesses in the region… in order to create efficiency and systematically affect the forest product processing industry.
The National Park Project is expected to be completed in December 2023. According to the representative of Center 1, with the cross-cutting contents, chained support will help the IT establishments producing and processing products from wood and bamboo develop synchronously, creating industry linkages, increase market access, share and learn from experience, innovate equipment systems. At the same time, through this project, it also contributes to promoting the development of the domestic industry of manufacturing equipment for the production and processing of wood and bamboo products.
The implemented project also contributes to the transformation of economic structure, labor structure in rural and mountainous areas, creating new production relationships in the development of industry – handicrafts in the locality. where the project is implemented.
